THN Hospitality Pty Ltd

THN Hospitality is a multi-faceted tourism and hospitality service provider who operate The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel and Hadley’s Orient Hotel in Hobart, Tasmania, on behalf of the owners. In 2021, THN was part of the team who resurrected Australia’s biggest food and drink festival, rebadging the traditional Taste of Tasmania as the Taste of Summer.

  • Formerly Director of Sales & Marketing, then Commercial Director at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel (1998-2012), start-up CEO of regional tourism organisation Destination Southern Tasmania (2012-2014) and Senior Advisor to the Tasmanian Premier, Hon. Will Hodgman MP, in his portfolio areas of Tourism, Hospitality & Events and Sport & Recreation (2014-2015). 

    Currently Managing Director of THN Hospitality Pty Ltd and CEO of The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel and Hadley’s Orient Hotel group (2016-present). Also a Director of Targett Marketing & Sales, the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania (TICT), Visitor Experience Training (VXT), Pinpoint Group and Cricket Tasmania.

  • Formerly the Food Services Manager with Gate Gourmet (1999-2001), Senior Chef de Partie Alpha Flight Services (1992-99) and commenced at The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel, initially as Food & Beverage Manager in 2001. Previously a shareholder of OWS Management Pty Ltd and commenced as Director of THN Hospitality Pty Ltd and Group General Manager of The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel and Hadley’s Orient Hotel group in 2016.

 

Allistair Lindsay


Allistair has over 35 years’ experience in all facets of the Property and Construction industry. He has held senior positions in Development Management, Project Management, Architecture, Civil and Construction firms and was formerly the Chief Quantity Surveyor for the Victorian State Govt.

He was also Associate Director – Procurement at UTAS. He has previously sat on the Real Estate Agent’s Tribunal, the Tasmanian Building and Construction Industry Training Board and the Property and Construction Advisory Board of the University of Melbourne where he also lectured in Professional Practice.

Major project experience includes Federation Square (Melb) Docklands Stadium (Melb), Brighton Bypass and Intermodal Transport Hub, Parliament Square, Vibe Hotel, major projects for UTAS, and various large hotel and residential apartment projects.

 

Fender Katsalidis


Fender Katsalidis ia a multidisciplinary design firm with a growing project portfolio in Tasmania. Fender Katsalidis is excited to be further contributing to Tasmania’s growing tourism industry by embarking on this mixed-use development alongside THN.

“Drawing on our experience in masterplan and boutique hotel design, the new hotel and precinct will seek to bring awareness to the site’s heritage and broader regional offerings. The project vision is to deliver a contemporary, design that complements Oatlands’ history and heritage. Alongside the hotel use and associated activities, the project will enhance the local culture and community.”
